Material selection

Choose materials around the job.

GAODA works with EVA thicknesses from 2–8 mm. Common choices include 4 mm and 5 mm; the final specification depends on case size, product weight and protection requirements.

Material selection considers the full case construction. A fabric specification alone does not establish a protection rating.

Interior solutions: hold, separate and protect.

CNC-cut foam inserts

Precise cutouts and flexible layout revisions for electronics, tools, cameras and medical devices.

Molded EVA trays

A shaped interior for professional equipment and repeat production, with a consistent presentation and product positioning.

Other insert options

Sponge inserts, egg-crate foam, DIY grid foam, elastic foam and functional compartments for different product layouts.

What should guide your choice? Start with product shape, weight, accessories and the intended use environment. Confirm fit and protection requirements during sample development.

OEM / ODM manufacturing process

From product brief to finished case.

A clear approval process connects your requirements with the materials, construction and production plan.

  1. Review requirements

Confirm product dimensions, weight, accessories, usage conditions and the intended order quantity.

  2. Develop the structure

Select the EVA thickness, fabric, insert, handle, zipper and logo method around the product.

  3. Build the sample

Check dimensions, product fit, appearance and function. Typical sampling: 7–10 days.

  4. Approve the details

Sign off the final structure, materials, branding and packaging before bulk production.

  5. Produce your cases

Material preparation, hot pressing, cutting, sewing and assembly. Typically 25–35 days after approval.

  6. Inspect & prepare shipment

Check appearance, dimensions, function and packaging against the approved requirements.

Quality control

Check the details that matter.

GAODA’s quality control process covers incoming materials, production checks, functional testing and final inspection.

01

Incoming materials

EVA, outer fabric, lining, zippers and accessories.

02

Production checks

First article confirmation, process inspection and checks of semi-finished cases.

03

Functional testing

Project-specific checks may include zipper, tensile, color difference, water resistance, UV aging, vibration, shock and drop testing.

04

Final inspection

Appearance, size, function and packaging checks before shipment.

Agree test methods, acceptance criteria and required reports for your project. Test requirements vary by product and intended use.

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers before you start.

Practical information on customization, order quantities, timing and supplier requirements.

What does a custom EVA case manufacturer do?

A custom EVA case manufacturer develops and produces protective cases around a product’s dimensions, accessories and handling requirements. GAODA supports case structure, materials, foam inserts, logos, packaging and bulk production.

Does GAODA provide OEM and ODM EVA cases?

Yes. GAODA supports OEM projects based on your specifications and ODM projects requiring design development, including custom structures, materials, inserts, branding and packaging.

What is the minimum order quantity?

GAODA’s standard MOQ starts at 500 pieces. The final minimum depends on the case structure, material and customization requirements and is confirmed with your quotation.

How long does sampling and bulk production take?

Most samples take 7–10 days after project requirements are confirmed. Bulk production normally takes 25–35 days after sample approval. Confirm the schedule for your specific project; shipping time is separate.

Can I customize EVA thickness and foam inserts?

Yes. EVA thickness options range from 2–8 mm, with 4 mm and 5 mm commonly used. Inserts include CNC-cut foam, molded EVA trays, sponge, egg-crate foam and functional compartments. The recommendation depends on product weight, shape and protection requirements.

What products can GAODA make cases for?

GAODA develops cases for electronics, tools, medical devices, drones, cameras, gaming products and other portable equipment. The shell and interior layout are tailored to the product and its accessories.

GAODA operates production facilities in Shenzhen, China and Vietnam. Production planning considers product complexity, order quantity, delivery requirements and supply chain needs.

What compliance documents should I request?

Ask GAODA for current documentation relating to ISO 9001, BSCI and C-TPAT, and confirm the applicable factory, scope and validity. These relate to different management, social compliance and supply chain programs; they do not establish a product-specific protection rating.

What should I provide to get a quotation?

Provide product dimensions and weight, photos or drawings, an accessories list, order quantity, target market, logo artwork and packaging requirements. Include the intended usage environment and any test requirements.
